Open Roads Complete RV didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a weekend that completely changed Drew Tutton's life.

For years, Drew had built a successful career in the automotive industry. RVs were never part of the plan. In fact, when a friend first asked if he wanted to buy one, he laughed it off until he realized his friend wasn't talking about a camper, but a Class A motorhome.

A few weeks later, while attending a Florida - Florida State football game, Drew saw that same motorhome sitting among the tailgaters. Looking at what he jokingly called "a bus," he smiled and said, "If I can drive it into Tallahassee and back out, I'll buy it." That Sunday, he drove it home.

Like most first-time RV owners, Drew and his wife couldn't wait to hit the road. They planned a trip to Ruby Falls, packed everything up, and were ready to start making memories. Unfortunately, before they ever left the driveway, they ran into one problem after another. Mechanical issues. Delays. Phone calls that weren't returned. Weeks waiting for answers from the dealership. The excitement of owning an RV quickly turned into frustration.

Thankfully, Drew had spent years building relationships with great technicians in the automotive industry. One of them stepped in, helped get everything repaired, and finally they were able to leave on their first adventure.

That trip changed everything.

For the first time, Drew experienced what the RV lifestyle was really about. Families riding bikes through the campground. Neighbors helping complete strangers back into campsites. Kids playing outside instead of staring at screens. Evenings around a campfire sharing stories with people they had just met.

Somewhere during that weekend, he realized something. The RV wasn't the best part. The memories were.

It was a reminder that life moves fast, and some of our greatest moments happen when we slow down long enough to enjoy them.

As incredible as the lifestyle was, Drew couldn't stop thinking about how difficult the buying and service experience had been. He knew customers deserved better.

Not long after, he met a mobile RV technician who dreamed of owning his own business one day. Instead of simply wishing him luck, Drew and his wife encouraged him to take the leap, and together they helped turn that dream into reality.

In June of 2014, Open Roads Complete RV opened on a small gravel lot with a metal building and three service bays.

The goal was never to become the biggest dealership. The goal was to become the dealership people were genuinely glad they found.

Within months, the service department had outgrown the facility. As the business continued to grow, Drew's son Dylan and his business partner began encouraging him to explore RV sales. Drew wasn't convinced. "We sell cars... not RVs."

But after plenty of conversations **and a lot of prayer** they decided to see where the opportunity might lead.

A phone call about becoming a SunnyBrook dealer unexpectedly opened the door to something much bigger. During the application process, Drew discovered SunnyBrook had become part of the Winnebago family, and they were looking for a dealer in Georgia.

That opportunity would change the future of Open Roads.

Later that year, the team traveled to Elkhart, Indiana, purchased their first inventory, and Dylan sold most of it within the first month. From there, Open Roads continued to grow... Not because growth was the goal, but because doing the right thing has a way of building momentum.

Today, Open Roads Complete RV proudly serves families from Jasper and Acworth, Georgia. Along the way, we've been honored to become one of the nation's top Winnebago towable dealers, Georgia's largest Rockwood dealer, and a Top 5 RiverStone dealer in the country.

We're incredibly proud of those accomplishments, but awards have never been what drives us.

What drives us is watching a young family buy their very first camper. Seeing grandparents take their grandchildren on adventures they'll remember forever. Helping retired couples finally take the trip they've been dreaming about for years.

An RV is more than a vehicle. It's a place where birthdays are celebrated, traditions begin, football weekends become unforgettable, and ordinary weekends become lifelong memories. That's why Open Roads exists.
